Hoist ring types
Standard and heavy duty swivel hoist rings from Carr Lane, Actek, RUD and ADB. 360° swivel and 180° pivot for safe angular lifts, in inch and metric threads.
A swivel hoist ring is a bolt-on lifting point with a ring (bail) that rotates 360° and pivots 180°. Because it turns to line up with the sling, it keeps its rated load at angles where a fixed lifting eye bolt would be derated.
Swivel hoist rings are used to lift molds, dies, fixtures, machinery, weldments and assemblies in machine shops, plastics plants, aerospace, automotive and heavy manufacturing.
Standard swivel hoist rings cover most lifts, with Carr Lane models rated from 550 lbs to 100,000 lbs. Heavy duty swivel hoist rings offer higher capacities and larger rings for big loads and multi-leg slings.

FAQ
A bolt passes through a bushing into a tapped hole in the load. The body rotates 360° around the bolt and the ring pivots 180°, so the hoist ring lines up with the sling instead of being bent sideways.
Divide the load across the lifting points, allow for sling angle and any imbalance, then pick a hoist ring whose rated load meets or exceeds the load per point and matches your thread size. See the capacity chart or ask us to size it for you.
Yes. Bolt-on swivel hoist rings can be removed and reused as long as they pass inspection and are re-torqued to specification each time they are installed.
